Roberto G. Torres Solá was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s Syndrome) at 18 months old. He is known for his love of the arts and sports. From 2014 to 2024, he was the “Bat Boy” for the Valenciano Mules in Double-A and the Coliceba in Juncos.
In recent years, he has been involved with the Puerto Rico Legends of Concord Santana Camp, where he teaches children and teenagers about baseball. Roberto is currently a high school student majoring in Physical Education K-12.
He completed the baseball umpiring course in November 2021 under the direction of Robert Ortiz. In October 2023, Roberto participated in the RO-40 Umpire Development. Today, he remains committed to promoting sports among Puerto Rican youth both on and off the field as a baseball umpire.
